How can I give myself a bruise?

First im not trying to hurt myself. lol
Im in theater and I play a role of a really big tom boy and I need tons of bruises I already tried makeup but I sweat it off under the stage lights so any ideas?

A reason I cant use makeup other then sweating, is because we get paid to make appearances as our characters and its gonna be noticeable that its make up so im just trying to have a real bruise that isn’t painful…Get what im saying?

Natural bruises won’t show up on stage. You say you sweat the make-up off, but I wonder, are you wearing everyday make-up or stage make-up? Normal cosmetics will come off with sweat, but stage make-up is a little better.

If none of the stage make-up is working for you, try the military war paint. The color is about right and it holds up pretty well to sweat and water. It’s also a pain to get off when your done.
