Using the brush tool in Photoshop Elements 7?

Im trying to do the thing, but makeup that will not let me choose the color. Thanks

Normally, clicking on the large, original black color square shows the color picker. You can also click on the Senior High Window menu and click the samples color. Samples can also use the dialog to save the colors you have selected using the color picker and load the samples you've downloaded. Click Edit> Preferences> General and make sure to use the Adobe Color Picker. It would be very helpful if we knew what you do when you try to select a color.
