15yr old Halloween costume for the school dance?

I need a Halloween costume for a dance school. I will not be something as frightening or ugly that nobody dances with me. Haha, I wanted to be a goth princess, but I can not seem to do makeup to look good. How can you apply gothic makeup? and if you can not explain that, then what are some other costumes? I wanted to use one of my dresses, so something as simple as a princess would be good. then I can stop at Walmart and grab a quick tiara, or perhaps a secretary with a skirt suit, but I do not want to be something like an old woman or a vampire or a ghost. if you can give me ideas that I can get right in my closet with some makeup, thatd be great! thanks!
