With my wedding anniversary is approaching, I had trouble finding the perfect gift for my husband. Being married to me for 11 years should he claimed a gold medal, but I wanted to give something a little more intimate.

My friend Kelly has proposed a meeting "room" photo shoot with Amber Procaccini.

My first thought was, "Why is my husband wants photos of our bedroom?" Once I've seen photos of "Bedroom Sessions" I realized that was not furniture or quilts.

Amber Procaccini Twin Cities is a photographer who is at the forefront of this new fad called the dismissal session photo camera.

It will come to your house (which can also go to his studio), with the makeup artist Julie Swenson to capture your inner diva in the film.

It seemed funny, but I wondered if me a sexy diva waiting to exit. There are moments when the struggle to oust semi-decently dressed mother in the suburbs, and the diva even less attractive.

Sunday I was in the last room of the church, when I discovered that my underwear is not only back, but also back.

Photos shows another bedroom sessions were young, low-to-be brides underwear, elegantly raised.

I tried to put myself in nothing but a bra and panties posing for the camera. Pipeline last month seemed more attractive to me than the idea of doing this.

I fear that I will present to the session tapes in my underwear and the photographer would say sternly: "I feel misunderstood, but is for young women Lean whose bodies had not been distorted by multiple pregnancies. Please put your clothes back. "

Interestingly, my mind went straight to what I felt was wrong with my body and why he could do a photo shoot.

That bothered me. Yes, I'm flirting with 40 and yes, I had three children but I have as much right to do a photo shoot session rooms that all young hard-bodied wife. Suddenly, I felt power.

The day photo arrived, and I was nervous, but ready to discover my inner diva.

Julie and Amber asked me what I had in mind for a theme or what I wanted highlight. Gave me this thought and decided that my focus should be, and my chest hair because it is the physical features of my husband appreciates especially me.

I showed up in sweat pants, makeup, and less worried. Within minutes, I was transformed into a sultry, diva of confidence.

Julie style my hair as I had never known before. I was delighted to receive Makeup tips on how to make hard eyes "Smoky" I could do myself. Mines often come as raccoon eyes – again not sexy.

For the first part of the shoot where I wore a white shirt of my husband in a red bra. Gradually, the shirt not drag my shoulder or a button would be defeated.

Approximately 30 minutes after I had beaten my sexy diva stride and work the poses.

What I liked most was that I did on the beach, but I still felt sexy. Much laughter, two hours and two more sets later, we were done.

A few days later Amber sent me the first picture and my mouth open. Amber says that every woman should have a good picture of herself and I see why now. Sometimes, someone show you what you see before you see yourself.

I'm proud of these photos. It took courage to dismantle my vulnerabilities. I confronted my insecurities on my terms and won. The photos are a bit daring, but still tasteful.

Above all, I realized that I come from sexy home a diva, I'm this sexy diva.
