Wizard of Oz Costume?

My friends and I are going as characters from The Wizard of Oz. I'm Dorothy, and three of my friends the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man. We all girls school. I will buy my suit, but many others are played by men in the film so that if we bought these costumes are either very revealing dress or a man.
