Makeup for Indian girl?

I am an East Indian girl with an oily skin and blemishes from acne. I was recently color printed for “Prescriptives” makeup. I apply very light powder on top of liquid foundation.

You could try Fashion Fair or Iman. They are usually in Debenhams. Or you could try mixing products to suit your colouring.

It really depends on your skin tone (warm or cool). If you are warm then try out bronze and golds. Also, if you want to try some really daring eye makeup, try putting a blue/turquoise colour on the outer side of your eyes, and a bronze on the inner sections of your eyelids. This is very pretty on Asian girls.

If you have a cool tone, then use earthy greens and browns for day, and silver for night. You could use the same method for eye makeup but with silver and purple. Darker skins can carry off bold colours so don’t be afraid to try out different things.

Use a facial wash range to suit your acne. I heard Pro Active is good for acne. Just get into a routine of washing your face (with the appropriate products) and your acne should clear up. Use a eye-makeup remover for eye makeup, because this is the most delicate area, and you don’t want to irritate this area at all.
