How I can get my career started as a makeup artist?

Recently graduated from the school of makeup .. I have yet to find a good job .. Iam hoping that someone can help me find a job in the field .. I live in md so its kind of hard c demand b / is not very high … I would like independent and work in a shop or salon (about anywhere on the need for a makeup artist) .. iam planning a party make-up in September to help to build a portfolio .. I am a professional makeup artist, have been for ten years. One thing you should do for a while is to work experience and freedom to be established. Do not be tempted to charge because you think you are good enough for the job, there are tons of amazing makeup artists there! You have entered a very competitive field with lots of talent. So your first goal is a lot of contacts, obtain a reputation. Choose the type of photos to work with (do not be shy or think you're not good enough – Always start at the top I say) and offered to them for free!.
