make makeup artist portfolio
Flexible working for a freelance makeup artist to do on the side?

I am looking to build my portfolio and go to the What distribution jobs type of work they could do that pays my bills, but not completely dry suck my time to build up my business? Help =)

Well, honestly, I do not know too much about the lifestyle makeup artist job. I went to beauty school, but loved the party composition of the improvement. I do not do this for a job but I do, however, only to help girls fun for weddings, dances, graduation, school dances, first dates, special events and the like. I put makeup on lots for free because I like girls. I suggest you build a portfolio of the family before and after shots of friends first only y. do it for free, create a portfolio. There has to be for a special occasion with family and friends, because you are practicing. You can also explore different styles and methods to makeup and take photos for your portfolio. In this way, you have something to show potential customers of their work and the variety of styles. Tell your friends and family who are your guinea pig, lol. After you do this and get I got a good portfolio then you think that maybe making a list in your newspaper for local news, ask different salons small, if you can place a card or flyer in their bulleton in the window maybe. Go to JR surrounding peaks and high school and put bulleton a flyer school. Just thinking about creative ways to advertise that do not cost much, everything fresh. Ask friends and family to keep eyes and ears for customers potential and give your card. Finally, to reach a customer (and you) offers a discount on the price of Nice. Continue to do this for a while until you create a customer list and the reputation of being a great makeup artist. After that you should go ahead and charge the full price. This will help you build a big company Artist makeup. You must start at the minimum price, and how they work to build a good reputation and word of mouth will work. I know this because I did the same work steps, on two separate occasions by two different types of jobs. I did it for the singing and entertainment. I started singing in my bar with a small karaoke machine free. All it took was a couple of times and only by word of mouth alone someone with one of my shows, "said another bar owner around me. He gave and received my card a call. I only pay for what you own a $ 100.00 bar. After singing is not the same what happened. Is there anyone there at the fair told elsewhere me and gave my card, and so on and so forth. In less than six months, I reserved to J, V, S and one month in advance, sometimes two months in advance. After building customer list of clubs and bars and all clients loved me, I could start charging $ 250.00 per night, plus tips. I also started doing weddings and parties. Only hundreds of patients. I have also done this with photography. I built a portfolio of pictures taken by family and friends. I do the same steps I have mentioned and Ta Da, I am now working as a team and not just photographery well almost. I know it will work. Be patient, be strong and never give up his dream. It will take a bit of money to make money, but in the end will not be disappointed. Trust me. Sincerely, Liz
