how to use a makeup highlighter??

heyy, i have had a powder makeup highlighter sitting in my drawer for quite sometime… i was wondering if any of you know how to use it, suchas where to apply it, how, and others!! thanks! (10 points)

Dab it with a small brush, q-tip, or even your finger in the corners of your eyes, on dark circles, in the dark creases around your nose, and along your cheekbones under your blusher to energize your face. It gives kind of a lifted, well-rested look.
Basically, highlighter is for anywhere on your face that you feel has too much of a shadow.
