There are some signs of post holiday blues – a tan color, irritability, exfoliation, a faraway look in his eyes glazed over – everything is there. Yup, That's me – post holiday blues.

I want to go to the beach where my most pressing problems of the day were, we have breakfast in bed or cafes ©? The poor quality magazine or a book? That bikini? I'm about to mourn at this time thinking about … UGHHHH.

Okay, I know I'm blessed. Do not misunderstand me. I am grateful to go out and stuff … It's just – On return from holiday shows me as I travel more. I miss the water more acute as we travel back to Colorado landlocked.

When absorbed in my daily life – mothers, working women … Traveling seems to be a luxury for someone else, a life away … and then I encounter on a beach. I slip into the lives of "others." Cold life without meals, fixing, washing dishes … without responsibilities. Before the children.

About the fourth day of vacation I get the missing children, my house, my kitchen and on the fifth day, I am ready to return. A joyful return occurs, gifts for the children, washing clothes and spend a few days … Then – after holiday blues.

I do not want to make dinner – Where is Sam? There is someone come to pick up the towels? Why not 84 degrees outside? Is there anyone to go there with my snack? And I realize what I like vacation is becoming a child again. I know my mother blues today very mild resentment as I slipped into a new adult. Driving the car, the kitchen, in answer to that, "Mama."

Yes, I heard all the "talk about the new era – building homes in their daily lives. Whatever. If it was really possible, why you need a Vacation? Holidays for me are like "Postcards" – an overview of a unique moment in time, both good and bad. I flip back to these postcards in my spirit when I often need to feel even the beach. It's OK to take vacation a little glamor, but little magic.

What I think I really need a vacation that is happening more … How about Disney in the fall? Is not that a little government money is coming soon? Ummm, I feel best. Where to stay?
