The same is applied for the kitchen. Removing the clutter by putting away appliances and clearing excess clutter will have your kitchen appear larger. Remember to wipe down the countertops, faucets and sinks often to keep your room smelling clean and refreshing and shiny.

Tip #3 – A Place for Everything. A good declutter tip is to go to a storage store to pick up boxes and bins in miscellaneous shapes and sizes. Buying bins that will compliment your décor is a great way to accentuate a room while being as organized as possible. Labeling each bin will help you to remember where everything belongs. If you are using bins to organize a young child’s playroom or bedroom, instead of using a label, put a picture of the item on the bin so they can identify where the item belongs.
