Can I use baby shampoo to clean professional makeup brushes? (I have acne prone skin that will be fine)?

I buy only costly professional brushes and want to preserve their life. Here is my routine. I clean my brushes almost daily cleaning with a brush (only to get the color of them). But … Once a week I wash them (carefully! Strawberry whose hair too!) With Johnson's baby shampoo. A small sign, and rinse with warm water (not too hard, that could mess with the tail) until the wash water clean. Press gently with a towel and let it dry on your hand or mouth down if possible. Do not place them up, as you can change their shape during drying. They are soft and clean. I use this technique for years and my brushes are still like new. Good luck: o)
