Generic vs Chi flat irons?

Sally Beauty Supply has a line of generic and use the words "like" in the these products. Not sure of the price, but I know I have the same flat iron and straightening of the reaction. I wonder if anyone has tried these generic products, and if in fact compared to the Chi.

I used some of the "compare" shampoos, conditioners and styling products for which appear to be fair to good. Honestly, I think there are products that need to buy the brand. Like "compare" plates? Not sure. I suppose I could deal with, depending of the price difference, the refund policy, etc. It is the loss if it breaks. I use the CHI flat iron and love it. I know friends who use other manufacturers and the results are not as good, but there may be a difference in our hair. I stayed with CHI. The sound, I found, became poorer in quality of and I do not trust much of what sells more.
