basic makeup

how do you put on basic makeup?
i kindof look like demi lovato brown eyes lighter hair though and layers and sidebangs. i have a oval face. fuller lips im 14 skinny tall and have a nose ring.tell me tips on how to do and put on makeup and what colours..
What kind of complextion do you have? (fair, medium, dark, etc…) I’m fair and this may sound like a lot, but I promise you it doesn’t turn out cakey or look like a clown just did your makeup.
1. Primer- I prime both my face and my eyes. (Primer is what makes my makeup stay on all day. I used to not prime and there really wasn’t any use in wearing makeup without it.)
2. Concealer- Green for covering up redness. Yellow for my under eye circles. PAT these with your fingers, do NOT smear, then you’re just totally wiping away the concealer you just put on. (It will look weird before your finished so don’t try to wipe some away to make it look lighter)
3. Foundation- I pat my foundation because it gives me more of a flawless look and it doesn’t mess up my concealer. It takes a little longer than rubbing it across my face, but its worth it.
4. Powder- I rarely powder my face because I never really need to set my foundation because the primer eliminates that. I only powder it if I run out of primer.
5. Bronzer/Blush- I usually only use bronzer because it makes my pale face look better. Haha. But I do the 3 technique. Don’t worry it may look a little dark when you first put it on if you’re fair like me, we’ll fix that later. I take my brush and bronzer start above my eyebrows on my forehead(not in the middle! This is what makes you look sort of orange and kind of fake bake. You want to create that glow AROUND your face. Then do a simple 3 around the outside of my face. Then I got around my eyes, into my cheek bones, then down my jaw line. When you do it, you’ll know why it’s called the 3 technique. [: Sometimes I'll take a little and go over my nose and around it slightly. As for blush, just simply apply to cheek bones and brush back words. Now, to lighten if it comes on too dark, just take a CLEAN face brush and just buff out those dark areas and I usually just buff out my whole face haha.
6. Eyes- I've already primed of course and concealed my dark circles. So now I apply my eyeshadow(I do a pretty sheer eye, a light brown eye) I'm not really into the whole crazy colors, but thats just because they don't look good on my complextion. If I go out that night, I take a little dark brown and put it into my crease. I line my upper and lower lash line with black eyeliner. Apply mascara to my top lashes, curl them. Wait for my mascara to dry, curl them again and then apply mascara to set it. And if I need it one more time I'll repeat. I just don't have very supple lashes, so I repeat and it usually does the trick. I usually would, to increase the appearance of my lashes, line the OUTSIDE of my top lide just slighty, not a huge thick line. It makes the appearance of having fuller lashes. Oh and smudge it some so its not such a harsh line. I don't really put eyeline on the outside of my lower lashes a lot because it just doesn't look good for my eyes.
7. Brows- My eyebrows aren't as dark as I'd like them to be. (I'm Irish, fair skinned, naturally slightly red/orange headed) Ha but my hair is brownish, but theres that obvious red/orange coloration to it. I just pencil them in a slightly darker color and it makes them look great and really makes my eyes pop.
That was A LOT to type. Lol. But I hope you found it helpful [:
