I want to take a course on how to apply makeup, just for fun and art. Ideas?

I am a college student because something that is only a day or 2 would be best. I just want a better understanding of the composition that I use and better skills for their application (products etc.).. I live in southeastern Wisconsin, but would go to Chicago, if anyone knows. Thank you!
